Terms of Service

By accessing or using Time4Driving, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). These Terms apply to the Time4Driving mobile application, the Time4Driving website, and any associated services where applicable. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Time4Driving.

Time4Driving provides tools intended to help learner drivers, supervising adults, and other supported users record supervised driving practice, organize driving history, monitor driving progress, access educational resources, prepare driving-log information, and use other available learner-driving tools.

Time4Driving is an aid. It is not a government agency and it is not a DMV or other licensing authority. Time4Driving is not officially approved or certified by any DMV or licensing authority.

Some functionality requires a Time4Driving account. You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• maintaining control of your credentials;
• protecting access to your account; and
• notifying Time4Driving if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account while it is under your control.

Time4Driving may allow an account holder to create and manage learner-driver profiles. Where applicable, supervising adults are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to enter and manage information for the learner associated with a profile. You should only create or manage a profile for a learner you are permitted to support.

Time4Driving helps you record and organize driving-practice information, but you remain responsible for reviewing the accuracy and completeness of your driving records. You should verify your information before submitting a driving log to a DMV, licensing authority, driving school, instructor, insurance provider, court, school, or any other third party, where applicable.

Time4Driving does not guarantee that:

• a driving log will be accepted by a licensing authority;
• logged hours automatically satisfy a state's licensing requirements;
• the app's calculations replace official records or documentation; or
• a particular drive qualifies under a particular jurisdiction's rules.

GPS tracking and automated calculations are tools designed to assist you. They may be affected by device sensors, GPS accuracy, signal availability, device settings, permissions, operating-system behavior, connectivity, interruptions, and other technical factors.

Time4Driving does not promise that distance is always exact, that route data is always complete, that Day/Night classification is legally definitive, that hard-stop or event detection is infallible, or that every drive will be captured without interruption. You remain responsible for reviewing important driving records.

Where Time4Driving automatically assists with classifications such as Day/Night or road type, these are application tools and may not correspond exactly to every jurisdiction's legal definitions. Automatic classifications and related calculations do not determine legal compliance. You should review the applicable licensing requirements for your jurisdiction.

Educational modules, quizzes, DMV-preparation materials, driving tips, and similar content are provided for general educational purposes. Time4Driving does not guarantee passing a permit test, passing a road test, receiving a driver's license, satisfying a particular driving-school curriculum, or that educational content reproduces an official government examination.

We encourage you to consult official state and local licensing sources for authoritative requirements. Time4Driving is not an accredited driving school.

Where Time4Driving displays state-specific licensing requirements or other regulatory information, please be aware that laws and agency requirements can change. You should verify current requirements with the applicable official licensing authority. Time4Driving does not guarantee that every displayed rule is always current.

Do not interact with Time4Driving while operating a moving vehicle.

A supervising passenger or another appropriate person should interact with the device where necessary. The application should never be used in a way that distracts the driver. When using Time4Driving, you must:

• obey traffic laws;
• drive safely;
• follow applicable learner-permit restrictions;
• comply with licensing requirements; and
• use appropriate supervision.

Time4Driving is not a substitute for safe driving judgment, qualified instruction, legally required supervision, or applicable traffic laws.

If you choose GPS drive tracking and grant the necessary permissions, Time4Driving may continue recording an active drive while the application is in the background or your device is locked, where supported. This does not mean Time4Driving guarantees uninterrupted background tracking, and device and operating-system behavior can affect tracking. You should not interact with the device while driving.

For authenticated accounts, supported information may be backed up or synchronized using Time4Driving's cloud infrastructure. Time4Driving does not guarantee uninterrupted cloud availability, instantaneous synchronization, that backup will never fail, that information can never be lost, or that every device will always have identical information immediately.

Time4Driving uses reliability mechanisms, but technical failures can occur. You should review important records and maintain appropriate copies or exports where necessary.

Time4Driving may allow you to generate and export driving-log information. Exported information reflects information stored by the service at the time of generation. You remain responsible for reviewing exported records before relying upon or submitting them. Time4Driving does not guarantee acceptance of an exported log by a DMV or other authority.

You may enter or upload information such as profile information, driving notes, driving records, photos or documents where supported, support submissions, and other user-provided information (collectively, “user content”). You should only upload information you have the right or authority to provide.

You retain ownership of your user content. You grant Time4Driving only the limited permission reasonably necessary to store, process, display to you, synchronize, back up, and otherwise provide the service you request. Time4Driving does not claim broad ownership of your user content and does not use it to create a general marketing license.

Your use of Time4Driving is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information. Please review it to understand our data practices.

Time4Driving is preparing paid subscription functionality. Certain features may require a paid subscription. Where subscriptions are offered, the applicable pricing and billing terms will be displayed before purchase.

Where subscriptions are purchased through a mobile platform such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing is processed by that platform, subscriptions may renew automatically where disclosed at the time of purchase, and you manage or cancel a platform subscription using the applicable platform or account controls. Any refund rules of that platform may apply to purchases it processes.

Some functionality may be available without a subscription or, where supported, without signing in. Information that is stored only locally on your device rather than backed up to your account may not receive the same cloud-backup and restoration protection as authenticated, cloud-backed information, and may not be recoverable if the app is removed or the device is lost.

You agree not to use Time4Driving to:

• violate applicable law;
• gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems;
• interfere with or disrupt the service;
• distribute malware or harmful code;
• abuse or exploit the service;
• fraudulently falsify information using the service;
• impersonate others; or
• infringe the rights of others.

You must not use Time4Driving to knowingly falsify or misrepresent driving-practice records. Time4Driving provides recording tools but does not verify that every user-entered drive actually occurred, and this is particularly relevant for manually entered drives. You are responsible for truthful entries and for compliance with applicable laws.

The Time4Driving application, website, branding, design, software, and original service content are owned by Time4Driving or its applicable licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of Time4Driving to you.

Time4Driving does not claim ownership of your driving records, user-uploaded documents, or other user-provided information, except for the limited service rights described in the “User content” section above.

Time4Driving may depend on or link to third-party services that we do not operate. Those services may have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review the terms and policies of any third-party service you use or visit.

Time4Driving may update the application, improve or modify features, discontinue features where appropriate, and perform maintenance. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or always available. We will handle changes that affect paid functionality consistent with applicable obligations.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Time4Driving for serious violations, including abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, or material violations of these Terms. Where reasonable and appropriate, we aim to act proportionately to the nature of the violation.

You may request deletion of your Time4Driving account, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. To request deletion, contact us at support@time4driving.app. This is consistent with the account-deletion information in our Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Time4Driving is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Without limiting your statutory consumer rights, Time4Driving does not guarantee:

• licensing eligibility;
• DMV or other authority acceptance;
• successful completion of licensing requirements;
• perfect GPS accuracy;
• perfect synchronization or backup;
• uninterrupted availability;
• error-free operation; or
• passing any examination.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Time4Driving and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Time4Driving. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will communicate them appropriately where required and update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Time4Driving after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms, but you do not waive rights merely by failing to notice an update.
